Teroldego Shawl Kit
Teroldego is an asymmetrical triangle shawl designed by Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks. The shawl features lace, colourwork, bobbles and stripes. The edges have a narrow garter edge, which allows for a slightly unfinished, rolling finish inspired by runway trends. This shawl is named after the wonderful Teroldego wine from Montinore Estate. It's a perfect, oversized yet lightweight wrap for throwing over a breezy summer dress at a wine tasting, a stroll on the beach, or a dinner on the deck!
We've made our Teroldego shawl in the lovely Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia Yarns; it's a 3-ply, 80% Superwash Merino / 20% nylon yarn that's a pleasure to knit with. Choose from any of our beautiful colour combinations, and use the dropdown menu to select whether you'd like to purchase your own pattern through Ravelry, or have us include a professionally-printed pattern with your kit.** (A printing fee is included). Our shawl is shown in "Ginger Nut."
Gauge: 25 sts and 33 rows over 4” / 10 cm after blocking in both colourwork and stockinette. (Please note that yardage usage will vary if your gauge differs. This kit contains 425yds/388m per colourway, but if your gauge differs significantly, you may run out of yarn.)
Suggested needle size: US 4/3.5 mm, 32”/80 cm circulars or longer.
** This is a good time to remind you of our no-exceptions pattern policy. In short: we believe that designers should be paid for their work, always. We will always pay the designer for each and every copy of every single pattern we sell.
