Range Shawl Kit
Ready to try your hand at Brioche? This shawl is a great way to start!
Andrea Mowry's beautiful Range Shawl, shown here in Galway Highland Heathers, is perfect for those cold, drizzly winter nights. It knits up quickly and wraps you up in soft, sturdy warmth. With unique corner-to-corner construction, this asymmetrical triangle shawl is full of texture, ranging from simple stockinette to brioche. (You can use this cute little how-to tool as you go!) The shawl is finished with a beautiful tweed gradient of all four colours.
We are only offering one colour combination for this kit, but there are plenty of possibilities! You'll need at least 200 yards in each of four colours of worsted weight yarn -- we recommend using the rustic workhorse Galway Highland Heathers and/or Galway Worsted (like we did), or Malabrigo Rios (if you really want to knock it out of the park). Go ahead... don't be shy!
Please note: the pattern is not included in the yarn kit.
Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, and a row counter is highly recommended.
Gauge (measured over stockinette stitch after blocking): 16 sts and 22 rows = 4 in/10 cm
